In March 3rd 2014, at UEL, the meeting with the delegation of the Consulate General of Thailand took place.
Mr. Kiattilkhun Chartprasert was the representative of the Thai delegation. About UEL, Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Dien, Vice-Rector; Dr. Huynh Thi Thuy Giang, Dean of International Economic Relations and Mrs. Le Bich Thuy, Head of International Relations Office also attended to this meeting.
The meeting was a chance for both sides to enhance the cooperative relations between UEL and the Thai universities and institutes. This was also the chance for the Thai delegation to study the position of Vietnam in ASEAN. According to that, both sides could discuss further about the cooperation between Viet Nam and Thailand in particular, and with others ASEAN countries in general.
The visit of the delegation of the Consulate General of Thailand has enhanced the relations between UEL and the Thai universities and enterprises. With the support of the Consulate General of Thailand, there will be more opportunities for UEL's teachers and students in studying and researching in Thailand.
