From December 6 to 10, 2021, the representative of the University of Economics and Law, Mr. Le Van Hinh, project coordinator of PURSEA attended the online conference on “Summarizing activities 5 and kicking off activities 6” and training on “Strengthening team capacity and managing change topics: Human resource management” was held at Da Nang University of Technology. The purpose of the conference is to strengthen university management capacity by supporting the development and implementation of strategic development planning of each unit in accordance with the context and characteristics of each university. The conference took place at the Da Nang University of Technology with online attendance of more than 10 project's member university: including 5 Vietnamese universities: The Hanoi University, The Hanoi University of Architecture, The University of Transport and Communications, The University of Economics and Law, and The University of Social Sciences and Humanities under the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, 2 universities of Cambodia: Institut de Technologie du Cambodge and Cambodia University of Health Sciences, AUF Hanoi Office and European bridgeheads (CNRS Scientific Research National Center, University of Lorraine, Université Libre de Brussels (ULB), Université de Toulon, Bordeaux Montaigne University, Universite De Bretagne Occidentale, The University of Duisburg-Essen).

These are the two events conducted to kick off activities 6 of the project “Innovating university governance in Southeast Asia (PURSEA)” (PURSEA) funded by the Erasmus+ program with sponsorship of the European Union, with the participation of 16 universities and research centers. Hanoi University is the coordinator and manager of the financial and administrative activities of the project with the support of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). The implementation of these activities 6 together with the achieved results of previous activities: 2, 3, 4, and 5 have been contributing to completing the implementation of innovation in university administration to meet the needs of improving the quality of management and the quality of education programs in the integration process of Vietnamese and Cambodian universities, which are the main beneficiaries of this project. European universities and research centers actively participate in the project with the role of transferring experience and expertise in the field of university administration.
