On March 4th, 2019, the University of Economics and Law organized a Conference named "Summing enrollment tasks in 2018 and deploying the plan for 2019".

The conference aimed to share experiences and contribute ideas to improve the university's and postgraduate admissions work and the University's affiliate programs.

In 2018, the UEL's university entrance exam was appraised as a success which contributes to improving the training reputation of UEL in the VNU-HCM system as well as the whole society. Especially, this is the enrollment time with the highest percentage of students enrolled to high-quality in English program ever, and the matriculation score of the high quality system is not much different from that of the mass system. In March 2010, the University will announce the official university admission scheme in 2019 according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

In 2018, there had been the enrollment for students who want to work and study simultaneously, the second diploma, postgraduate students and international affiliate programs all met the target, but also faced some difficulties due to subjective and objective reasons, such as the increasing competition of the training units across the country, the promotion of enrollment is still limited, the source of training in the localities is getting less, etc.

Delegates attended the Conference commented that it is necessary to further promote the marketing activities in enrollment consulting system and need to have the cooperation of the units in the enrollment consultancy as well as enhance the connectivity of VNU-HCM system with other member schools in promoting the enrollment work.
