Seminar "Factors affecting the effectiveness of international project management at University of Economics and Law"

On December 1, 2021, the University of Economics and Law held a Seminar "Factors affecting the effectiveness of international project management at the University of Economics and Law" to assess the status of resources to attract international projects and collect suggestions of stakeholders to analyze aspects of human, financial resources, factors for project approval and reciprocal policies to make international projects successful; develop plans to implement international projects in terms of university autonomy and digital transformation in the 2021-2025 period.

  The seminar was held with the participation of Ms. Nguyen Huong, Senior Advisor of the Irish Embassy and Ms. Trieu Tuyet Mai Huong - Project Manager, Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Foundation and representatives of other training institutions. Besides, the Board of Directors and teachers of units of the University of Economics and Law also joined the seminar,

  Because of the goal of becoming a research-oriented university, the guideline of the leaders of the University of Economics and Law and VNU-HCM, on international relations, is to take advantage of extensive cooperation relationships. It is used in many fields in order to attract domestic and foreign researchers and academic exchange activities for lecturers and students, co-organize international conferences, etc. that promotes research activities on the regional and international levels to meet the requirements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

  In addition, the promotion of applications for international projects has opened up research opportunities for staff and lecturers in recent years. That was considered an effective step to realize the university's strategy for the period of 2015 - 2020 and 2021 - 2025. Besides, the effectiveness brought by these international projects not only contributes to brand building, enhancing the position of the university in the region but also demonstrates the role and social responsibility of the university in the process of promoting the development of the locality and the country.

  At the end of the conference, Prof. Dr. Le Vu Nam - Vice Rector of the university highly appreciated the results of the seminar. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Le Vu Nam emphasized that approaching and implementing international projects is necessary. In addition, the university needs to grasp requirements and project priorities to implement and be proactive. In particular, training institutions need to determine the importance and benefits of international projects.
