VNU-HCM signed 11 cooperation agreements with Australia and New Zealand

From March 8th  to March 17th ,2019 Principal of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMC) led the delegation to work in Australia and New Zealand.

About the participants, there are leaders of Office of VNU HCMC, Department of Foreign Affairs and Project Development, University Board, Post-graduate Board and leaders of member universities and ITP-Group.

The aim of this business trip is improving the relationships with traditional partners and promoting new cooperation with potential in Australia and New Zealand. VNU - HCMC discussed with prestigious universities such as Melbourne University, Macquarie University, Deakin University, Western Sydney Unversity, Griffith University, Canberra University, Swinburne University and Auckland University of New Zealand.

The content of the discussion focused on promoting high-quality undergraduate and graduate training links; cooperative training of intensive human resources (doctoral, postdoctoral); improve scientific research capacity; promote the exchange of faculty and students; co-organizing conferences, seminars and incubation activities.

The delegation also had a working session with the Ministry of Education and Training of Victoria State (Australia) to learn about the state's higher education system and educational support mechanisms. During the mission, VNU-HCM signed 11 cooperation agreements between VNU-HCM member units and Australian and New Zealand partners as a premise for future cooperation.
