International Scientific Conference "UEL - Sustainability in Economics and Business (UEL-SEB): Innovation & Sustainability - Impact on Economics & Business" organized by the University of Economics - Law, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (UEL) will take place on April 25, 2024.

UEL-SEB serves as a platform for domestic and international scholars to discuss economic, financial, financial technology, and emerging research trends in the field of economics and finance of countries in the region and the world. The issues shared at the conference will contribute to promoting new research directions in economics and finance.

UEL-SEB will include a plenary session and 05 specialized sessions. The plenary session will feature presentations by Professor Wing-Keung Wong - Asia University, Taiwan, on the topic "New Trading Strategy in Investment and a New Anomaly: A study of the hedge funds from emerging and developed markets," Professor Hooy Chee Wooi - Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, on the topic "Business Sustainability from the Managerial Risk-taking Perspective," and Dr. Le Duc Quang Tu - UEL, on the topic "Fintech and banking: Friends or foes? Evidence from bank-fintech cooperation."

The specialized sessions at UEL-SEB will cover topics including Financial Technology and Digital Financial Services; Impact of Banking, Digital Currency, and Cryptocurrency on Society; Corporate Governance, Business Innovation, and Operational Efficiency; Sustainable Economics and Economic Growth.
