On February 28th, 2022, the University of Economics and Law (UEL) signed the Memorandum of Understanding on program cooperation “Entrepreneurial Training Program” with Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG)

 

In order to provide students with opportunities to have experiences on working in the companies, UEL strengthens cooperation with large auditing firms and KPMG - one of the partners that has cooperated with the university in recent years. This partnership is intended to assure the sustainability of training reforming activities in which the university's curriculum will meet the social demands. This also provides students with more opportunities for getting working experiences as well as build up the impression of Vietnamese students to all international companies/

With collaborative efforts since 2018, KPMG has accompanied UEL students in many activities such as sharing topics on professional knowledge, career orientation for students, especially funding several academic scholarships, internship opportunities for many UEL students with the KPMG Star scholarship program. Many students have had excellent results in CFAB subjects under the KPMG Star sponsorship program, honored by ICAEW globally, and many UEL alumni who are also working at KPMG are rated very well.

 

On the MOU Signing Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Rectoremphasized that “With the participation of KPMG experts in training with the university, I believe that the graduates of UEL's accounting and auditing program meet the needs of society in the changing conditions of technology, contributing to increasing the competitiveness of Vietnamese accounting and auditing human resources in the region and in the world.”
