The Arasmus+CBHE 609879 Project Launch Conference about innovating university governance in Southeast Asia (PURSEA) was held at Hanoi University on 03.3.2020.
This was the project of the European Union (EU) supporting a number of universities in Vietnam and Cambodia to make changes in university governance to meet the need of improving university governance and training quality.
Participants in the Southern Project include two member universities of VNU-HCM, which are the University of Economics and Law and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Tien Dung-Party Committee Secretary, Rector of UEL and Assoc. Prof. Le Vu Nam - Vice-Rector of UEL together with the leaders of some units represented the University to attend this conference.
Within the framework of a business trip in Hanoi, the Missions of the University of Economics and Law also had a meeting with The People’s Supreme Tribunal Leader to learn and exchange the ability to on the afternoon of February 25, 2020.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged the possibility of cooperation to bring the Vietnamese judges to short-term training and field trips in UEL’s Canadian partners.
In addition, the two sides also agreed to continue exchanges and discussions to sign a cooperation agreement (MOU) in the field of training, scientific research, organizing seminars and internships for the law student.
