On March 2nd, 2018, University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM (UEL) held the Opening Ceremony and ran the first course of the Master's program in Civil Law & Civil Procedure and Economics & Administration Management course for 2018 at university branch VNU HCM in Ben Tre.
Participating components included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat - Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of VNU-HCM, Steering Committee of VNU HCM City in Ben Tre branch, the representatives of the Board of Directors and leaders of the Faculties and Departments of the University University of Economics and Law and the new postgraduate students of the 2018 UEL in Ben Tre.
UEL's 2018 Master's training course in Ben Tre had 63 successfully graduated students, of which, there were 19 students of Economics & Administration Management program and 44 students of Civil Law & Civil Procedure program.
Delivering a statement at the Opening Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dzung - Rector of the University of Economics and Law congratulated the new postgraduate students in Ben Tre and he hoped that the students would be determined to get the highest results.

Before the Opening Ceremony, the inauguration ceremony of two classrooms at university branch VNU HCM in Ben Tre was sponsored by the University of Economics and Law. Making a speech at the inauguration ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Vu Phan Tu - Director of university branch VNU HCM in Ben Tre said that 2 classrooms have just been inaugurated to meet the standard as the main classrooms, which not only shows out how UEL cares about the facilities for learners but also demonstrates the companion of the member schools with the university branch in order to show the strength of VNU-HCM system.
